ICI’s research and development center consisting experienced, qualified, and highly-trained engineers in different disciplines performs as the spotlight of the company that boosts the industry with set-by-order projects and a stream of new products is established in order to achieve the following aims:

Main mission:
- Designing and manufacturing the military/non-military products in communications field by researching, reinforcing scientific abilities and benefiting all national/international potentials in order to localize the latest modern advanced defense and civil technologies in ICI for being self-sufficient and competitive in the region
- Developing international markets by penetrating to the new markets via modern products
- Developing varieties of tactical communication, airborne and naval, defense, telecommunication means as well as command control total solutions and space industries group products
